Welcome and Introduction of Meeting Participants ; Introductions
Review and approve April 2008 Minutes ; Accepted
Financial Report; The Financial Report was Reviewed and Accepted
Affiliate/Regional Faculty; Affiliate and Regional Faculty need to be appointed prior to the October meeting. Jeff Gilliard will create a portal
on the website where individuals can apply for Affiliate Faculty appointment / reappointment and Delaina will create a form for the Affiliate
Faculty Renewals to complete that will outline their activity since the last appointments. The State Chair and Member at Large Positions are
also available. Jeff Gilliard will create a portal on the website where individuals can nominate themselves or others for these position
Update on National ITLS Activities; International ITLS is working with Brady Publishing to put the didactic portion of the ITLS courses online.
Once the individual completed the online didactic they would locate a training center to complete the hands on portion of the course.
There may be 3-5 ITLS International Board positions available at the international conference. Delegates will be needed as Dr. Gianas is up for
re-election.The new ITLS Pediatric book will be out soon.
ITLS Website Update:;Jeff has updated the website with new content including photos and a copy of the newsletter. There is also a new webmaster’s
corner in the newsletter and a website specific email address at itlswebmaster@yahoo.com. Jeff has begun the coordination and editing for and
ITLS of Florida DVD. Anyone with content for this project is asked to contact Jeff.
New Business; Delaina will be sending out the ClinCon Booth Schedule to ask for volunteers to man the booth at ClinCon. Jeff Gilliard offered to
help with the transport of the materials from the EMLRC office to the Rosen Centre Hotel for Booth Setup. We will be selling ITLS of Florida Polo shirts,
Hats, and T-Shirts, as well as the 6th edition book and the new Trauma DVD. Delaina will order the ITLS international booth to display at the event.
We will be holding a CMS Overview and Q/A session at the July State Meetings. Delaina will show the Web Walkthrough How to videos and take
questions. Delaina will also create a CMS FAQ sheet. Shawn Tatham and Jeff Gilliard have both used CMS and are willing to discuss their experiences
during the meeting.
